Rebecca Heathcock
Project Manager / Communications Consultant

Rebecca Heathcock has over 20 years of experience in communications, strategic planning and business analysis for both for-profit and non-profit organizations. For the past 5 years, she has worked as a consultant primarily to local and state government agencies in California and Oregon, providing communications project management for Web-based community outreach initiatives.

Prior to founding Inspyre Media in 2008, Rebecca co-founded Enbient, an eBusiness development consultancy in Oakland, California where she provided project management and business analysis services to high tech and government clients. She began her career in product management and international marketing working in Paris, France for L’Oreal, where she managed new product introductions and brand management in both Europe and the US. She has also held numerous product marketing and business development positions at high-tech startups and Fortune 500 companies, including Apple, Sun Microsystems, Verizon Wireless, Adpac, and Ubisoft Entertainment.

Rebecca is passionate about environmental sustainability, corporate social responsibility and caring economics. She is a sustaining sponsor of the Sustainable Business Network of Portland and she volunteers her time to suport the Pacific Northwest CleanTech Open, the Bioneers, and the Project Management Institute of Portland.

She holds an MBA in international management from the Monterey Institute of International Studies and a BA in French from the University of California at Berkeley. She is currently preparing to take the the Project Management Institute's PMP exam to become certified in project management.
